Entre Rios is one of the twenty-three provinces of Argentina. It is located in the Mesopotamia Argentina, as part of the Central Region. Bordered to the south of Buenos Aires Province, west to Santa Fe Province, north to the province of Corrientes and east by the Eastern Republic of Uruguay. The provincial capital is the city of Paraná.
With an area of 78,781 square kilometers (66,976 distributed territorially km ² of land and 11,805 km ² of islands and flood-prone lands) is the seventeenth country\'s largest province, occupying 2.83% of the total.
According to preliminary data from the census of 2010 (INDEC) has 1,236,300 inhabitants, 3 making it the seventh most populous province. This population amounted to 3.1% of the national total.
